San Diego Symphony's talented wind players will perform quintets by some of classical music's most famous composers. The musicians include Sheryl Renk, principal clarinet, Sarah Tuck, flute, Sarah Skuster, principal oboe, Ben Jaber, principal horn, and Valentin Martchev, principal bassoon. San Diego Symphony celebrated its Centennial season last year making it the oldest in California. After its humble beginnings as a community band, it is now regarded as one of the best orchestras in the country. During the 2011-12 season, don't miss special guests Kathleen Battle, Pichas Zuckerman, pianist Stephen Hough, violinist Robert McDuffie and a performance of Beethoven's 9th Symphony!
