For Bahman Sarram, aka Bviolin, the uneasy years of his childhood in Iran were marked by chapters of triumph and tribulation. Those memories continue to affect him profoundly and have influenced his signature sound -- a unique mix of world and fusion instrumental compositions with hints of gypsy and Middle Eastern, as well as lyrical songs influenced by traditional folk. A classically trained violinist, Bahman displays a remarkable mastery of the instrument in every note of his passionate performances. Bahman has gathered the perfect musicians to help tell his unique story; they call themselves the Gypsy Nights Ensemble. The group often tours in California and throughout the country.
