The team that produces the annual ArtWalk in San Diego’s Little Italy each April is pleased to announce the return of ArtWalk on the Bay, a fine arts festival sponsored by the Port of San Diego.

The beautiful Embarcadero Marina Park North (behind Seaport Village) provides a scenic venue for art, music and interactive art experiences for children.

The Mission: To create an environment designed to introduce Southern Californians to original art, to provide attendees with the opportunity to meet the artists and to purchase art directly from the artists. The festival celebrates art of all kinds through partnerships with various community groups representing both visual and performing arts. ArtWalk on the Bay features some of the familiar components and artists of the April event, and several exciting newcomers.

Visitors can easily reach the venue on the MTS Trolley, and there are several parking lots surrounding this area.

Free Shuttle from County Administration Lot

The large County Administration Building parking lot will be open the weekend of ArtWalk on the Bay. Enter the lot from Ash Street near Pacific Highway.
The SureRide shuttle will be circulating between ArtWalk on the Bay and the County Lot from 7am to 6pm on both days. Look for the white minibus on Ash St. between Pacific Highway and Harbor Drive. The shuttle will circulate continuously (approximately every 15 minutes.)

ArtWalk Unveils New Online Artist Accounts
Now artists who have been accepted to an ArtWalk event can log in to their own online account and change contact info and information about their artwork. If you are an ArtWalk artist, go to the login page to try the new feature. Just enter your email address to have your new account username and password sent to you. Please note that this feature is in its Beta release, and online accounts currenly work only with Internet Explorer.
